Cardiotoxicity and Cytotoxic Drugs

Cardiotoxicity is a major side effect of many cytotoxic drugs, particularly the anthracyclines. Many other chemotherapy agents may cause cardiac side effects, including cyclophosphamide, rituximab, and arsenic. For a full review of this topic, see Chanan-Khan et al, 2004.
